You're surrounded by woods and wildlife, with the Island Resort and Casino and Sweetgrass Golf Course just three miles away. The Central UP's extensive ORV and ATV trail network is right in your backyard, with thousands of miles of state-designated trails winding through some of the most beautiful forest in the region. Escanaba is 16 miles for dining, Lake Michigan access, and shopping. Whether you're here to ride, fish, sit by the fire, or simply do nothing at all — the UP has a way of making every one of those feel like exactly the right choice.

Your glamping cottage and everything on your site is exclusively yours for the duration of your stay. The fire ring, firewood, picnic table, chairs, private outdoor restroom, and wash station are all part of your site and yours alone. You never share any of it with other guests. Beyond your site, you're welcome to enjoy the open areas of the Alderwood Crossing property. On occasion, we host weddings and events in our separate venue spaces, but the glamping area has its own private entrance and is never affected by what's happening elsewhere on the property. Out of respect for your fellow guests, we ask that you enjoy the property's open spaces rather than wandering into the wooded areas, as the cottages are nestled into the tree line and every guest deserves their own private view.
